God is not respecter of persons, neither does He discriminate against anybody He's created. But why does He give strict warnings, teachings and instructions to His covenanted children that they must be extra careful and vigilant about where and who they marry to? This is because whom and where you marry to will definitely and automatically add to your life and give you brighter future or will decrease your life and destroy your future and destiny. Marriage to someone who doesn't fear the Lord is dangerous; it can even cost you to the point where you will be mislead to serve other gods and even lose your salvation 1Kings11.1But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, andHittites; 2Of the nations concerningwhich the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: forsurely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. 3And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. 4For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. 1Kings11:9Now the LORD was angry with Solomon because his heart was turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, Exod34.12Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, or it will become a snare in your midst. Deut7.3Furthermore, you shall not intermarry with them; you shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor shall you take their daughters for your sons. Ezra10; Deut7.4; Marry in the Faith; If you are not married yet and now preparing, then make sure to marry not only in the church, but most importantly in the faith; make sure your marriage life pleases the Lord. For He is coming quickly to judge all things including marriage (Yahweh's 1st institution on Earth), shalom -Bishop Dr. Apau-
